They said I was weak and called me a pheasant. So I called them a selfish gecko, and now they want to fight. And said if I don't come to them, then they'll find me.

Not really. They were just being so rude, and I responded without really thinking, and now I've screwed everything up.

They will accept a surrender. But you'll have to really praise them - tell them I was the one who convinced you how incredibly powerful they are.

Why can't I just say sorry or get them a Jelly or something?

If you give them jellies and word it as "an offering", that might be able to work!

You just need to say you underestimated their strength and power, which is true in a sense! It doesn't have to be a whole speech. Just a few words, your offering, and the deed is done. Then afterwards, I'll make you a nice delicious treat, and we can gaze at the stars together.
